Mr. Newkirk was such a wonderful soul. I miss him so much. I had the gift of having known him and spending time with him for 12 years and am thankful to have had such a special person in my life. I have never met, nor will ever meet anyone as generous, considerate and thoughtful as Mr. Newkirk. His concern for everyone around him, his selflessness and simple kindness amazed me. He was also one of the most interesting people I have ever met. I did not meet his wife, but heard many stories from him about the hard working loving person he married and missed so much. I have not doubt he is with her and is smiling down upon all of us that grieve his passing. He will never be forgotten, but missed by many. I ,however, will cherish my memories of the friend that I loved. My heart goes out to Nancy and Susan for their loss of such a great father and to the family that he loved.

Thanks so much to the family for sharing such a wonderful individual. A gentleman through and through with kind eyes and a fabulous laugh. A joy to be with and learn from. Always curious and adventurous, he never seemed to meet an obstacle. I am so blessed to have known Mr. Newkirk.

Condolences to Mr. Newkirk's large family from Tim and Nikki Thomas. He was one of the most interesting people I had the good fortune of getting acquainted with and the best man I had the pleasure to work for. Gone he may be, but forgotten - NEVER.
He will always be alive in my memories.
