My family and I would like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge and thank the new owner of Drake, Whaley, McCarty Funeral home, Brent Gaunce & his right-hand Brittany Brogli, for the outstanding & professional way they handled every detail of my Mother's funeral.

From the time they showed up at the hospital to receive her body, until the hours after her funeral...they were a 1st class team.

Lots of time when new owners acquire a business of this nature, people are hesitant to adapt to the change. Yes, we all loved Patty Drake, Jim Drake, & Beth Drake Simpson, but the Drake family certainly left the citizens of Cynthiana in good hands with the Gaunce family, to be there when families are facing one of life's darkest moments.

When I was looking for funeral home , I wanted a family owned one, I picked the right family owned funeral home. They were great from the time they came to our house to get my husband to burial. They made such a nice video of pictures, the service was very nice,husband looked very good, great job.
