Delores Jean Courtney, 77, of Berea, KY., formerly of Cynthiana, died Mon., Aug. 21, 2017. She was born in Harrison Co.,KY., Sept. 12, 1939. She was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church. Her husband, Ronald Courtney, father and step mother, Odus and Arphia Fryman, Sr. and mother, Mildred Eads Fryman, two grandchildren and one great grandchild and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Ricky J. (Lisa) Courtney, Randy (Wanda) Courtney, three daughters, Ronda (John) Phillips, Roxanna (Mike Wade) Means and Reva (James) Hatcher, two brothers, Odus (Reba) Fryman, Jr., and Jerry (Pam) Fryman, two sisters, Shirley (Larry) Davidson and Betty Fullen, one step-sister Mattie McNees, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Services will be conducted 1 PM Fri., at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Bro. Paul Marksbury, with burial in Beards Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Thurs.
