Betty Dorene Bennett Obituary

Betty Dorene Bennett, 86 of Cynthiana, died Friday, February 10, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Harrison Co., Kentucky August 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Reynolds and Mary Frank Harney Spegal.
Betty was a retired Rite Aide clerk, and a member of Leesburg Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Bennett, and two brothers, George Martin and Thomas Eugene Spegal.
Survivors include one son, John R. Bennett, Cynthiana, two sisters, Mary (Ernie) Gossett, Cynthiana, Margaret White, Ferguson, KY, one sister in law, Anna Spegal, Lexington, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 13, 2017, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
