Patsy Jean “MaPat” Denniston Monson, 89, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana.
Born October 31, 1928 in Harrison County, Kentucky to the late John Phillips & Agnes Elizabeth Courtney Denniston, she was a long-time ward clerk for Harrison Memorial Hospital and member of the Cynthiana Christian Church.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Susan Muntz (Darren Guy) Lanter, of Dallas, Georgia; 2 great-grandchildren: Jaclyn (Tyler) te Velde and Mason Lanter, both of Georgetown; a great-great-grandson, Ryker Clay te Velde; 3 special nephews: John (Cheryl) Rogers, Jim (Helen) Rogers and Tony (Kay) Denniston; 2 nieces: Debra Nichols and Karen Schapley; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Sue Ann Jennings Muntz, a brother, Johnnie Denniston, and a sister, Sue Lewis Denniston Rogers.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Dr. Larry W. Bishop. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
