Nelson Hutson, 88, of Bourbon Co., KY. , died Tuesday August 15, 2017.
He was born July 21, 1929 in Bourbon Co., KY, a son of the late Alex and Catherine Langfels Hutson.
Nelson was a member of the Church of the Annunciation, a Marine Corps Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, and he was a lifelong farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen McKenna Hutson, brothers, Perry, Powell and Buddie Hutson, a sister, Olga Schwerman and a grandson, James Rush.
Survivors include two sons, James Patrick (Joetta) Hutson, Michael (Melissa) Hutson, three daughters, Catherine (Brent) Rush, Tee (Jody) Whitaker, Agnes (Mark) Williams, one sister, Golda M. Bowman, grandchildren, James "AJ" (Danni) Hutson, Amanda (Thomas) Talbot, Lucy (Neil) Payne, Lewis Whitaker, David Whitaker, Grace Whitaker, Francis Rush ,Jill Rush, and 7 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Church of the Annunciation, Paris, KY. Burial will be in David Cemetery following the service.
Following the interment service, a meal will be held at the Church of the Annunciation Parish Hall, all family and friends are invited to attend.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, Cynthiana.
