Woodrow Wilson Smith, 84, of Edgemont Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday, August 6, 2006
at his residence.
He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, January 30, 1922, to the late James Fee and Myrtle
Hall Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired farmer, and an honorably discharged Army Veteran of World
War II. He was a member of the Leesburg Christian Church.
Survivors include nieces, Carolyn Caskey, Harrison County, Kentucky, Dixie Brown, Lincoln County,
Kentucky, and Mary Louise Carter, Winchester, Kentucky. Two Nephews, Wayne Smith, North
Carolina, and Dale Smith, Stanford, Kentucky.
Services will be conducted 1 P.M. Thursday, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by
Reverend Sammy Harris, with burial to be in Jacksonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 A.M.
Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
