Woodford "Buddy" Brothers

Woodford Ramsey “Buddy” Brothers, 83, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Edgemont Healthcare in Cynthiana.

Buddy was born July 26, 1942 in Lexington to the late Joseph Damon & Mattie Frances Baker Brothers and attended Boyer’s Chapel Community Church. A sweet soul, he enjoyed collecting his many treasures— such as toy cars, t-shirts & belt buckles, and loved to wear his beloved Dale Earnhart, Jr. jacket.

Surviving are 2 brothers, Orville Lee Brothers and Allen (Lynn) Brothers, both of Cynthiana; a sister, Amy Crawford of Lexington; and several nieces & nephews.

Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Richard & Jessie Simon Brothers; and 3 sisters: Alphie Rose Conyers, Sharon Ruth Slone & Ethel Mae Brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, May 4th at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington.  

Casketbearers will be Brennon Bentley, Allen Brothers, Christopher Brothers, Kimmie Ann Brothers, Bradley Reyes and Frances Reyes.
