Wilma Lee Burden Hisle, 87, formerly of Cynthiana, wife of the late Dallas Clayton Hisle, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Blue Ash Hospice in Cincinnati.

Born October 18, 1935 in Harrison County to the late James Wilson & Emma Marie Houston Burden, she worked for more than 60 years as a bookkeeper for the Term Finance Company and member of Sardinia Baptist Church.  Music was Wilma’s life; she loved playing piano and devoted more than 60 years to being a church pianist.

Survivors include her 3 sons: Jeffrey Lee (Ruth) Hisle, Batavia, Ohio, Gregory Clay Hisle, Ft. Wright, Kentucky, & Kevin Martin Hisle, Hamilton, Ohio; and a sister, Jeannette (Raymond, Jr.) Caswell, of Cynthiana, along with 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were 2 sisters, Betty Ann Pope and Mary Wilson Howard.

Services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, July 28th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Rev. Kenneth Ogle with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday.
