William  A.  "Billy"  Day,  82,   of   Lexington,   KY.,   died   Friday,  July  6,  2007,   at  Edgemont

Manor  Nursing   Home,   Cynthiana,   Ky.

He  was  born   in   Harrison  County,  Ky.,   January  8,  1925,   to  the  late   John  L.  and  Josie

Stroub  Day.    He  was  a  retired   carpenter.

Survivors  include  his  wife,   Dorothy  Wiggins  Day,   one  brother,   Charles  Day,   Dayton,  Ohio,

and   two  nephews,   Gary  Lewis  Day   and  Jim   Hiten.

Services   will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Monday,   July  9,  2007,   at   the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home,   with  burial  in  Battle  Grove   Cemetery.    Friends   may  call   after   11  A.M.

Monday,   at   the  funeral  home.

Active  Pallbearers  are   Gary  W.  Florence,   James  D.  Kenney,   Jerry  Smith,   Larry  A.  Smith,

David  K.  Palmer   and  Mike  Barnes.

Honorary  Pallbearers  are    Ray  Sowder   and   James  Childress.
