William Earl Caswell, 63, husband of Janet Hodges Caswell, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at his home in Cynthiana.

Born February 21, 1961 in Harrison County to the late Randall Rhoda, Sr. & Rita Gail Arnold Caswell, he was a retired auto mechanic having operated several garages in town, and also worked for Clean Auto Sales as well as O’Reilly Auto Parts. William greatly enjoyed fishing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a member of Ammerman Road Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include 2 children, Kris (Tara) Caswell & Martha Caswell (Tony LaBona), both of Cynthiana; 2 stepchildren, Charlotte (Richard) Ray of Cynthiana & Matthew (Abby) Perraut of Bellbrook, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Perraut of Cynthiana; 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were 3 brothers: Randall R. “Randy” Caswell, Jr., Richard A. “Ricky” Caswell & Dale W. Caswell; and a stepson, Larry Perraut, Jr.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 9th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Pastor Tony Vance. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Aidan Caswell, Aaron Jackson, Matthew Perraut, Jason Perry, Aaron Reffitt & Michael Thomas.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
