Wilbur  Ray  Ecklar,  67,   died  Tuesday,  Jan.  16,  2007,   at  Hospice  Care  Center,   Lexington,

Kentucky.

He  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Kentucky,  September  20,  1939,  to  the  late  John  Allen  and

Anna  Louise  Williams  Ecklar.   He  was  retired   from  the  restaurant  business.   Mr.  Ecklar  was

a  member  of  the  First  United  Methodist  Church,   Cynthiana  Country  Club  and  a  Kentucky

Colonel.   He  was  an  honorably  discharged  Army  Veteran.

Surivors  include  two  sons,  Stephen  Ecklar  and  Stewart  Ecklar,  both  of  Cynthiana,  Ky.  one

daughter,  Jana  Ferrell,  Mt  Sterling,  Ky.   one  sister,  Mildred  Hehr,  Harrison  County,  Ky.

and  former  wife  and  good  friend,  Helen  Palmer.   Grandchildren,  Paige  Ecklar,  Carol  Ann  Ecklar,

Robbie  Ferrell,  Max  Ecklar,  Lindsey  Ecklar  and  Bradley  Ecklar.

Memorial  services  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Saturday,   at  the  First  United  Methodist  Church.

Visitation  after  noon  Saturday  at  the  Church.   Memorials  may  be  made  to  American  Cancer

Sosiety.
