Walter Allen Mills, 51, husband of Tammara Chapman Mills, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at his home in Cynthiana.

Born August 31, 1972 in Westerly, Rhode Island to Walter L. & Ruth-Ann Ryan Mills, he was a former manager for McDonald’s. Walter was a true “people-person,” he enjoyed talking with others and was generous to everyone. As a “foodie” he loved eating, cooking & collecting recipes; he also had an extensive collection of LEGOs and was a very imaginative soul.

Additional survivors include 3 children: Michael Grayson Standeford, James Phelan Standeford & Natasha Rose Standeford; a stepdaughter, Kendra Chapman (Peter Hopkins); a sister, Deeana Campbell (Michael Rotigliano); and 2 grandchildren, Finley & Björn Standeford.

Also preceding him in death were a son, Lars Alexander Mills, and a sister, Debra Ruth Carroll.

Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M.  Monday, August 26th at Flat Run Veterans Park, 364 Oddville Avenue, Cynthiana.
