Virginia Lawson Lizer, 80 of Cynthiana died Sunday May 6, 2007.
She was born May 21, 1926 in Lincoln Co., KY a daughter of the late John Thomas and Dulcie Baugh Lawson.
Mrs. Lizer was a retired farmer and a member of the Southland Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Manning Lizer in 1999.
Survivors include her daughters Pam (David) Henson of Harrison Co., Billie (Milton) Bell of Newfields, NH, 2 sisters Gladys Mullen of Cynthiana, Thelma Hutchison of Paris, she was "Nana" to her grandchildren Don (Tomoe) VonGruenigen,Jr., Liesl (Ruben) Hull, Jennifer (Tyler) Gossett, Julie Henson, and great grandchildren Liza Jane Gossett, Ethan Hull, Lili VonGruenigen, Reese Hull, Itsuki Gramkow Shu Gramkow.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 10, 2007 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Garrett Stephens, Dr. Larry W. Bishop and Rev. Sam Harris.
Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
