Sterling  P.  Wagoner,  Sr.,  89,   of  Cynthiana,  Kentucky,  died  Thursday,  April   5, 2007,  at  Harrison

Memorial  Hospital.

He  was  born  in  Nicholas  County,  Kentucky,  October  26,  1917,  to  the  late  Elva  J.  and  Sallie Burden

Wagoner.   Mr.  Wagoner  was  a  retired  Bundy  Tubing  Employee  and   farmer.   He  was  a  member  of

the  Cynthiana  Christian  Church.

His  wife  Bessie  Sosby  Wagoner  and  son  in  law  Kenneth  Whitson  preceded  him  in  death.

Survivors  include his  son,   Sterling  P.  Wagoner,  Jr.  and  his  wife  Martha,   and   daughter,   Elizabeth

Wagoner  Whitson,  all  of  Harrison  County,   Ky.    Five  grandchildren  and  7  Great  Grandchildren

also  survive.

Services  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Tuesday,  April  10,  2007,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home,  by  Rev.  Timothy  Teater  and  Rev.  Jack  Bowman,   with  entombment  in  Battle

Grove  Cemetery.  

Friends  may  call  from  5  to  8  P.M.  Monday  at  the  funeral  home.
