Stanley J. Jenkins, 79, husband of Maxie Sims Jenkins, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023.
Born August 13, 1944 in Harrison County to the late Marshall & Goldie Jenkins, he was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Navy having retired as a Senior Chief. He later worked at the Fayette County Detention Center and for the Cynthiana Democrat.
Other survivors include his children, Christopher (Penny) James, Anthony (Cherie) Jenkins, Troy (Hillary) Jenkins & Brandon Jenkins, and 2 grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were his daughter, Melanie Jenkins, and his brothers, John Taylor & Billy Jenkins.
A private graveside service will be held in Battle Grove Cemetery.
