Shirley Lee Moore, 88, of Harrison County, Kentucky, died Saturday, May 26, 2007,
at Grand Haven Nursing Home, Cynthiana, Kentucky.
He was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, January 19, 1919, to the late George and
Lydia Kerlin Moore. Mr. Moore was a retired factory worker and farmer. He was an
Honorably Discharged Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Benson
United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mildred Frederick Moore and a nephew, Ronnie Frederick of
North Carolina.
Services will be conducted 1 P.M. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty
Funeral Home, by Rev. Joe Short and Rev. Carol Whiting, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Benson United Methodist Church.
