Rosetta "Rosie" Fryman Whalen, 80, of Covington, Kentucky, died Thursday, October 26, 2006,
at St. Elizabeth South Hospital, Covington, Kentucky.
She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, May 30, 1926, to the late Charles Stanley and Mary
Liza Hill Fryman. She had worked at Hansley Mills and Biancke's and had attended the Nazarene
Church and First Church of God.
Her husband Elbert "Hub" Whalen and sister Anna Mae Whalen preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Elbert Steven Whalen, Independence, Ky. one daughter, Rebecca
(Barry) Jackson, Amelia, Ohio. Three Grandchildren, Steven Scott Whalen, Gerald Casey Whalen,
and Anthony Elbert Whalen. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews also
survive.
Services will be conducted 1 P.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty
Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit after 11 A.M.
Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
Active Pallbearers are Casey Whalen, Scott Whalen, Larry Feeback, Elbert Steven Whalen, Tony
Whalen and Charles Garrison.
