Ronald Darwin Bruce Obituary
Ronald Darwin Bruce, 72 of Cynthiana formerly of Lexington died Wednesday October 10, 2007.
He was born August 6, 1935 in Harrison Co., KY a son of the late Henry Newton and Geneva Lou Criswell Bruce.
Ronnie was a member of the Curry United Methodist Church the F.O.P. and was retired from the Lexington Fayette Co. Government where he was the fleet service supervisor for the Metro Police Division.
Survivors include his wife Mary Elizabeth Hausberger Bruce, his daughter Amy Elizabeth (Allen) Warren of Lexington, his brother Henry Newton Bruce, Jr. of Cynthiana, and his granddaughters Laura Elizabeth, Emily Elizabeth and Alison Elizabeth Warren.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday at the Curry United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Joe Short.
Burial will be in the Lower Curry Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1:00 PM Friday at the Church.
Pallbearers: Garland Hill, Gene Hill, Paul Ralph Jones, Allen Warren, Thomas Burling, Darwin "Huck" Bruce, Dale Criswell and Steven Criswell.
