Flossie Elizabeth “Peggy” Stivers Pennington, 86, formerly of Cynthiana, wife of the late Russell Curtis Pennington, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at her home in London, Kentucky.
Born June 21, 1937 in Harrison County to the late John F. & Flossie Whirles Stivers, she was a former employee of Hansley Mills and Essex Manufacturing, and member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Peggy devoted most of her life to caring for her family and enjoyed watching television.
Surviving are a son, Robin (Debbie) Stivers, of London; 3 grandchildren: Lyndsay (Shane) Smith, Hannah Stivers (Kenny Southworth) and Travis Morgan; 6 great-grandsons; and 1 great-great grandson.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 22nd at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as casketbearers.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
