Nellie  Louise  Slade  Dennis,  87,  of  Cynthiana,   Ky.,   died  Sunday,  February  24,  2008,

at  her  residence.

She  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Ky.,   September 10, 1920,   to  the  late  George  Washington

and  Honor  Belle  Hill  Slade.   She  was  a  retired   childcare  worker   and  member  of  the  Webster

Ave.  Church  of  God.

Her  husband,   Virgil  Dennis  preceded  her  in  death.

Survivors  include  a  special  niece,   Frances  Bradford,   and  numerous  nieces  and  nephews,

great  and  great  great  nieces  and  nephews.

Services  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Wednesday,   February  27,  2008,   at  the  Webster  Ave.

Church  of  God,  by  Rev.  Gary  Stith  and  Rev.  Terry  McDuffey,   with  burial  in  Battle  Grove

Cemetery.    Friends  may  call  from  5  to  8  P.M.  Tuesday,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home  and  after  11  A.M.   Wednesday  at  the  Church.

Drake-Whaley-McCarty  Funeral  Home  is  in  charge  of   arrangements.

Active  Pallbearers  are  George  R.  Bradford,   William  Whitaker,  Terry  McDuffey,  Jimmy  Gibson,

Kinney  Gibson  and   Simpson  Green  McIntosh.

Honorary  Pallbearers  are  Dr.  A.  C.  Wright   and  Dr.  Don  Stephens.
