Melanie Carroll Jenkins, 53, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022  at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

A native of Harrison County, she was born May 2, 1968, had been a cashier at several area convenience stores and was of the Seventh-day Adventist Faith.

Survivors include her parents, Stanley & Maxie Sims Jenkins; 4 brothers: Christopher (Penny) James, Anthony (Cherie) Jenkins, Troy (Hillary) Jenkins & Brandon Jenkins; and 3 special aunts: Ruth Wright–who was like a second mother, Sue Kelly & Bonnie Harney, along with several additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty F.H. by Pastor John Chamberlin.

Private burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
