Mattie Louise (Petty) Brannock

Mattie Louise Petty Brannock, 98, was called home to be with the Lord August 21, 2018.

Born July 4, 1920 in Kelat, Kentucky to the late John C. & Sarah “Sadie” Stamper Petty, she was a devoted homemaker and lifetime member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was married 58 years to her beloved husband Robert Ballinger Brannock, who preceded her in death in 1996.

Also preceding her in death were her sister, Marietta Owens, two brothers, Martin S. & Johnnie H. Petty, and a son-in-law, Larry Prather.

Surviving are her 3 children, Danny (Alisa) Brannock, Linda Prather and Robin (Jerry) Hill, all of Berry, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Thelma Brannock.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church in Kelat, Kentucky by Bro. Keith Hemphill. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
