Mary  Burden  Howard,  64,  of  Cynthiana,  Ky.  died  Monday,  May  8,  2006,   at  her  residence.

She  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Ky.,   May  19,  1941,  to  the  late  James  W.  and  Emma

Marie  Houston  Burden.   Mary  was  a  retired  Public  Healthcare  Nurse  for  the  Harrison  County

Health Department.   She  was  a  member  of  the  Unity  Christian  Church  and  attended  Indian

Creek  Christian  Church.

Survivors  include  her  husband,   James  W.  Howard,   one  son  Grant (Pam)  Howard,  Two

daughters,  Amanda  Howard  and  Jamie (Brian)  Kenzie,  all  of  Harrison  Co.,  Ky.  Three

sisters,  Betty  Ann  Pope,  Florida,  Wilma  Hisle,  Ohio  and  Jeannette  Caswell,  Cynthiana,  Ky.

Four  Grandchildren,  Ryan  and  Aaron  Howard   and  Alex  and  Cameron  Kinsey.

Services  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Wednesday,  May  10,  2006,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-

McCarty  Funeral  Home,  by Rev.  Jack  Bowman  and  Rev.  Bobby  Duncan,  with  burial  in 

Battle  Grove  Cemetery.  Friends  may  call  from  4  to  8  P.M.  Tuesday.  Memorials  may  be

made  to  Hospice  of  the  Bluegrass,  Indian  Creek  Christian  Church  or  Unity  Christian Church.
