Marian Eileen “Pud” McNees, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.
Born February 13, 1934 in Harrison County to the late Willie & Martha Perrin McNees, she was a longtime cook at Harrison Memorial Hospital and member of Robinson Christian Church. Marian loved to cook, work in the garden and quilt.
Surviving are 2 children: James (Linda M.) McNees, of Scott County, and Joyce (Greg) Jackson, of Cynthiana; 4 grandchildren: Brandi (Mark) Lee, Ethan (Lindsay) Jackson, Sarah Eustice & Randy (Amanda) Moore; 7 great-grandchildren: Aidan, Connor, Kaitlin, Nathan, Hayden, Madelyn & Lillie; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Harold David, William Thomas & Clarence Berry McNees; and a sister, Juanita McNees.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Bro. Stephen Staggs. Burial will follow in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as casketbearers.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
