Margaret  Rose  Tillett  Platt,  81,   of   Dover  Manor  Nursing  Home,   Georgetown,  Ky.,   formerly

of   Cynthiana,  Ky.,   died   Sunday,   July  22,  2007,   at  her  residence.

She  was  born  in   Hamilton  Co.,   Ohio,   January  27,  1926,   to  the  late  William  and  Iva  Mae 

Spiegel  Tillett.    She  was  a  retired  Grede  Employee   and   homemaker.   Mrs.  Platt  was  a  member

of  the  Beaver  Baptist  Church.

She  was  preceded  in  death  by  her  husband  of  47  years,   Berlin  Platt  in  1990   and  her  daughter,

Patricia  Palmer  in  2007.

Survivors  include   one  son,  Berlin  Platt,  Jr.,   Cynthiana,   three  daughters,   Rosalynn   Lanham,

Kannapolis,    N.C.,    Rita  (Larry)  England,   Harrison  County,   and  Mary  Mae  (Donald)  Brooks,

Georgetown,   one  brother,    Donald  (Janet)  Tillett,   Mountain  Top,   Penn.,   and    one  sister,

Jaunita  Russell,   Cynthiana,   son  in  law,   Billy  Palmer,   Harrison  Co.,   12  Grandchildren, 

15  Great  Grandchildren   and  2  Great  Great  Grandchildren  also  survive.

Services  will   be  conducted   10  A.M.  Wednesday,   July  25,  2007,   at   the  Drake-Whaley-

McCarty  Funeral  Home,   by  Rev.  Tony  Shouse,   with  burial   in   Republican  Cemetery.

Friends  may  call   from  5   to  8  P.M.  Tuesday,   at   the  Funeral  Home.

Memorials  may  be  made  to   Republican  Cemetery.

Active  Pallbearers  are   Michael  Hicks,  Anthony  Hitch,   Grady  Perry,   Chad  Vance,  Craig  Ritchie,

and   David  Parker.

McKemie   and  the  Nursing  Staff  of  Dover  Manor  Nursing  Home.
