Louise (Charles) Corbin

Louise Charles Corbin, 88, wife of the late Amos Corbin, Jr., passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at her home. 

Born April 12, 1932 in Fayette County to the late Virgil Clay & Lena Mae Stewart Charles, she had worked as a telephone operator and in a doctor’s office, retired from 3M and was a lifelong member of the Connersville Christian Church. Louise enjoyed reading and watching UK Basketball & Football.

Surviving are 2 sons: Rick (Betty) Corbin and Greg (Carol) Corbin, both of Cynthiana; a son-in-law: Wayne McKinley; 5 grandchildren: Josh Corbin, Danielle Corbin (Derrick) Collins, Crystal (Scotty) Yazell, Richard (Jennifer) Coldiron & Timothy Coldiron; 8 great-grandchildren:   Braylon Hinton, Tyler Collins, Dalton Brooks, John Collins, Ashley Coldiron, James Matthew Collins, Wyatt Yazell & Rylee Hudgins; 2 great-great grandchildren: Kyla & Sophia Coldiron; a special friend, James Collins; and 2 special nieces: Michelle Fulton & Annette Verschaeve, along with several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Patti Corbin McKinley; a brother, Calvert Clay Charles; a sister, Beatrice Ammerman and a great-grandson, Emery Collins.

Services will be 12:30 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Connersville Christian Church by Lead Minister Warren French and Associate Minister Nick Jones. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be James Collins, Greg Corbin, Josh Corbin, Rick Corbin, Barry Duckworth and Don Lee Edwards.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of service.
