Lois Virginia Morrison Florence, 88, wife of the late Stanley Florence, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Edgemont Healthcare.
Born August 9, 1930 in Pendleton County to the late Frank & Mary Morrison, she was a devoted homemaker, an avid reader and member of the First Church of God.
Survivors include 2 granddaughters: Michelle Fuller, of Austin, Texas, and Jamie Martin, of Justin, Texas; a step-son, Chuck (Kathy) Florence, of Cynthiana; a step-daughter, Fannie Mae (B.W.) Northcutt, of Cynthiana; her son-in-law, William (Carol) Fuller, of Lakeland, Florida; and 3 great-grandchildren: Tyler Shaw, Emma Selman and William Martin, along with several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter: Mary Frances Florence Fuller; 2 brothers: Clifton & Allie Todd Morrison; and 2 sisters: Indie Simpson and Janie Wiggins.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Pastor Earl Litman with burial following in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Michael Florence, B.W. Northcutt, Jr., Justin Northcutt, Mason Northcutt and Robert Northcutt.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of service.
