Leonard J. Wagner, 66, of Defiance, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at
Jasper County Hospital, in Indiana.
He was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky, January 26, 1941, to the late Leslie T. and Hattie
Courtney Wagner. Mr. Wagner worked for Precision Motor Transport Tristar Division,
Okemos, MI. He was a member of Difiance Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Roy and Woodrow Wagner.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Giles Wagner, Defiance, Ohio, one daughter, Angela (John)
Blythe, Georgetown, Ky., Two sons, Jeffrey Wagner, Cynthiana, Ky., and Stephen (Jodi)
Wagner, Defiance, Ohio, Four brothers, Leslie B. (Clara) Wagner and Harold Wagner, both
of Cynthiana, Ky., Raymond Wagner, Fruit Heights, Utah, and Phillip (Brenda) Wagner,
Stockbridge, Ga. Three sisters, Betty (James) Roland, Cynthiana, Ky., Mary Sue McKnight,
Lake Oswego, Oregan and Barbara (Ronald) Coyle, Newark, Ohio. Three grandchildren also
survive.
Services will be conducted 11 A.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty
Funeral Home, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday
