Kathleen Sims Obituary

Kathleen Cole Sims, 90 of E. Bridge St. Cynthiana died Sunday August 6, 2006 at the Harrison Memorial Hospital.


She was born August 6, 1916 in Harrison Co., Ky a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Sexton Cole.


She was a homemaker a mother and member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Winchester.


Her husband French Sims preceded her in death in 1967.


Survivors include 2 sons Wayne and Ronnie Sims of Harrison Co., 9 daughters Loretta Bishop, Sue Kelly and Wilma McCracken all of Harrison Co., Maxie Jenkins of Robertson Co., Elaine Tubbs of Nicholas Co., Ruth Wright, Bonnie Harney, Nancy Wagoner and Judy Moore all of Harrison Co., 18 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 16 great grandchildren,  and 3 great great grandgrandchildren.


Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday August 9, 2006 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Bro. Ray Chamberlin and Bro. Darrell Crane.


Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.


Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.


Pallbearers: Timothy Wagoner, James Bishop, Michael Moore, Billy Kelly, Jerry Sims, Kenney McCracken.


Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Kelly, Phillip Wagoner, Billy Moore, Jerry Harney.
