Katherine  England  Harney,  90,  of  Cynthiana,  Ky.,   died  Tues.,  Nov.  27,  2007,   at   Harrison

Memorial   Hospital.

She  was  born  in  Harrison  Co.,  Ky.,   Oct.  18,  1917,   to  the  late  Walter  and  Effie  Whitley

England.   She  was  a  member  of  the  Elmarch  United  Methodist  Church.

Mrs.  Harney  was  preceded  in  death  by  her  husband,  Darvin  Harney,   two  sisters,  Ruby  McGrath,

and   Lucille  Lang,   one  brother,  Lovell   England.

Survivors  include  one  son,  Walter  Henry  Harney,   Cynthiana,   two  brothers,   Delmar  England,  of

Florida  and  Jimmy  (Joyce)  England,   Ashland,  Ky.,   Four  Sisters,   Blanche  Asbury,   Harrison  Co.,

Lela  (Carl)  Bloomer,   Ohio,   Lena  (Herchel)  McCauley,  Florida   and  Goldie  Harney,   Cynthiana,

Several  nieces,   nephews,   great  and  great  great  nieces  and  nephews  also  survive.

Services  will  be  conducted  11  A.M.  Saturday,   Dec.  1,  2007,   at  the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home,   by  Rev.  Charles  Williams  and   Rev.  Mary  Purcell,   with  burial  in  Battle  Grove

Cemetery.   Friends  may   call  from  5  to  8  P.M.  Friday.

Memorials  may  be  made  to  Elmarch  United  Methodist  Church  or   Hospice  of  the  Bluegrass.
