Judith Ann Benson Rawlings, 76, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, wife of the late Earl Glenn Rawlings, died at home on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Born January 14, 1949 in Cynthiana a daughter of the late Stanley and Christine Renaker Benson, she was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and a member of many genealogical societies, including the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Kentucky Mayflower Society. Judith was a retired teacher, with a special place in her heart for adult education, and she ended her career as a deputy jailer.
Survivors include her children: Melinda Rawlings, Scott (Lori) Rawlings, and John Rawlings; her beloved grandson, Luke Rawlings; and special friends Anne VonGruenigen and Darlene Cummins.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, January 12th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
Following cremation, Judith will be inurned at Battle Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 502 E Bridge Street, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
