Joyce Lynette Willis, 72, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born September 22, 1953 in Harrison County, she was a 1972 graduate of Harrison County High School, a retired employee of 3M and had also worked for the Community Action Council and Kroger. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Joyce loved crafting, cooking, decorating, sewing and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving are her mother, Jeannie Custard Willis of Cynthiana; her significant other, Eddie Whalen of Cynthiana; 2 sons, Myron Chadwick “Chad” Willis (Leigh Alyson Willis) & Nathan Travis Sipe (Natalie Conkwright), both of Lexington; 3 sisters: Kathy Willis, Linda Hinton & Diane Woods; and 3 grandchildren: Marleigh Camille Willis and Rylan Everette & Maxson Allen Sipe, along with a large extended family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Willis; and 2 brothers, Larry & Eugene Willis.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 12:00-2:00 P.M. Monday, October 13th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as casketbearers.
