Joe Thomas Lemons, 78, husband of the late Connie Troxell Lemons, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home.
Born September 7, 1945 in Harrison County to the late H.T. & Jessie Bell Moore Lemons, he was a retired supervisor with Roadway Express and a member of First Methodist Church of Cynthiana.
Survivors include his daughter, Beth Anne (Jamie) Ellington; a sister, Joyce Perry; 3 grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn (Joseph Bates) Ellington, Tristan Wayne Ellington & Spencer Alan (Mary) Gray; and 4 great-grandchildren: Sutton Wayne, Addison Lynn & Bennett Paul Bates and Paxton Alan Gray.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Lisa Jo Fryman, and a grandson, William Troy “T.J.” Fryman, Jr.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 29th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Dr. Ted Beam. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Joseph Bates, Rodney Dryden, Jamie & Tristan Ellington and Alan & Spencer Gray.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.
