Jodi Lou Sexton, 54, of Cynthiana, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 17, 1971 in Harlan, Kentucky and was a former medical assistant at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. 

Survivors include her mother, Sheila Nease Sexton; a son, Braxton (Allee) Jarvis; a brother, Dyron (McKenzie) Sexton; a sister, Tamatha (Keith) Sexton-Cornett; her grandchildren: Kharnen, Demi & Odin; 2 stepsons, Alex & Cody Jarvis and their children, Luke, Daniel, Thyri, Zayli, Onikia & Aubreigh, along with a large extended family. 

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Sexton.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13th at Cumberland Pentecostal Church in Harlan County.

She will be inurned along with her father in the Creech Cemetery.
