Jennie Lee Hiten Obituary

Jennie Lee Hiten, 82 of Cynthiana died Monday June 25, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.


Mrs. Hiten was born September 3, 1924 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of the late Cray and Mary Harney Moreland. She had worked at Lermans Department Store, was a homemaker, a former Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.


Her granddaughter Vickie Jean Henry preceded her in death.


Survivors include her husband Homer Hiten, a son William (Linda) Henry of Georgia, her daughter Janice (George) Franklin of Harrison Co., grandchildren Leandra (Tim) Jenkins of Georgetown, Brad (Tracie) Franklin of Harrison Co., Joey (Sherri) Franklin of Harrison Co., and Jeffrey Henry of Montana, great grandchildren Hunter Adair, Taylor Jenkins, Joe Tyler Franklin, Keerstin Franklin, Kayla Jean Henry, Sabastian Henry and several nieces and nephews.


 


Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday June 28, 2007 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Wayne Spivey, burial will follow the service in the Pythian Grove Cemetery.


Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday June 27, 2007 at the funeral home.
