Jennie  Martin  Bell,  96,  of  Cynthiana,  Ky.,  died   Friday,   June  8,  2007,   at   her  residence.

She  was  born   in  Harrison  Co.,   Ky.,   Jan.  6,  1911,    to  the  late  Marion  Delville  and  Helen

Hamilton  Martin.   Mrs.  Bell  was  a   member  of  the  Cynthiana  Baptist  Church,   a  graduate  of

Cynthiana  High  School,   had  attended  Bernau  College  in  Georgia   and  was   a   University  of

Kentucky   graduate.   She   had   taught  school   at  Oddville  School   and   Connersville  School  in

Harrison  County.

Her  husband   Marshall  Bell  preceded   her  in  death.

Survivors  include   two  daughters,   Marion  Vest,   Cynthiana   and   Martha  Jones,   Lexington,

her  grandchildren,   Mark  (Susan)   Vest,  Pinetop,  Az.,    Richard  (Naomi)  Jones,   Cambridge,

Mass.,   Samantha  (Michael)  Wright,   Lexington,    Susan  McKinney,   Cynthiana,   Elizabeth

(Harry)  Fogler,  Wilmore,  Ky.,    great  grandchildren,  Oliver  Wright,  Hank  Fogler,   Jennie

Vest  and  Carrie  Vest.

Graveside  services  were  conducted  in  Battle  Grove  Cemetery.
