Obituary
James H. Turner, 77, husband of the late Louise Neff Turner, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Bourbon Community Hospital.
Born July 28, 1945 in Harrison County to the late Hubert & Rose Hampton Turner, he worked for many years as a plumber and also for the Harrison Lumber Company. James enjoyed fishing, shooting, riding his motorcycle and spending time with the love of his life, Louise.
Surviving are 3 sons: Jeff “Koogle” (late- Kim) Turner, James Q. Turner and Douglas A. Turner; 3 stepchildren: Charles “Buck” Fowler, Charlene Fowler (Lester) Jones and Bridget Jones; 2 brothers, Harold Ray & Ricky Lee Turner; 2 sisters, Jan Turner Mullannix and Ann Turner Hayden; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Barry Dean Turner, and an infant brother, Charles Terry Turner and a special daughter-in-law & caregiver, Kim Day.
A private burial will be held in Battle Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
