James  L.  "Buddy"  Mastin, Jr.,  68,  of  Cynthiana,  Kentucky,  died  Wednesday,  April  9,  2008,

at  his  residence.

He  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Ky.,  April  12,  1939.  He  was  a  member  of  Mt.  Carmel

Christian  Church  and  was  a  retired  farmer  and  truck  driver.

His  father  James  L.  Mastin,  Sr.  and  brother  Joe  Mastin  preceded  him  in  death.

Survivors  include  his  mother,   Geneva  Jones  Mastin,   Cynthiana,  Ky.,   two  sons,  James

Shelton  Mastin  and  Stacy  Reynolds  Mastin,  both  of  Paris,  Ky.   one  sister,  Barbara  Mastin

Clough,   Cynthiana,  Ky.,   Cousin,   James  Chapel  Mastin.   Several  grandchildren  also survive.

Services  will  be  conducted  10  A.M.  Saturday,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty  Funeral  Home,

by  Rev.  Sam  Chanslor  and  Rev.  James  Smith,   with  burial  in  Evergreen  Memory  Gardens.

Friends  may  call  from  5  to  8  Friday  at  the  Funeral  Home.

Memorials  may  be  made  to  Hospice  of  the  Bluegrass  or  Mt.  Carmel  Christian  Church.
