Hubert  Turner,  85,  of  Cynthiana,  Ky,  died  Sunday,  August  27,  2006,  at  Cedar  Ridge  Health

Care  Campus.

He  was  born  in  Laurel  County,  Ky.,   April 5,  1921,  to  the  late  Charles  and  Lucy  Grayson  Turner.

Mr.  Turner   was  a  retired  employee  of   Owsley  Lumber  Co.  and  the  City  of  Cynthiana.  He  attended

Calvary  Assembly  of  God.   He  was  preceded  in  death  by  his  wives   Rose  Hampton  Turner  and

Pauline  Edwards  Turner.

Survivors  include  3  Sons,   Harold  (Raye Jean)  Turner,  Pendleton  Co.,  Ky.,   Ricky  Turner,

Morehead,  Ky.,   and  James  (Louise)  Turner,  Cynthiana,  Ky.,    2  Daughters,   Mrs.  Wayne

(Jan)  Mullannix,   Georgetown,  Ky.,   and  Ann  Turner,   Lexington,  Ky.   10  Grandchildren,

Dwayne  Mattox,  Mark  Mattox,  Angie  Wright,   Jason  Turner,  Jenny  Maddox,   Justin  Turner,

Barry  Dean  Turner,  Jeffrey  Turner,   Chrissy  Turner  and  Nicholas  Turner.  Several  Great 

Grandchildren  also  survive.

Service  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Wednesday,  August  30,  2006,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-

McCarty  Funeral  Home,  by  Pastor  Terry  Moore,   with  burial  in  Battle  Grove  Cemetery.

Friends  may  call  from  5   to  8  P.M.  Tuesday,   August  29,  2006.

Active  Pallbearers  are    Dwayne  Mattox,  Mark  Mattox,  Jason  Turner,  Justin  Turner,

Barry  Dean  Turner  and  Jeff  Turner.
