Gordon Desha Northcutt, 79, of Cynthiana, Ky., died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at his residence.
He was born in Harrison County, Ky., May 24, 1927, to the late Jessie and Hattie Sipple
Northcutt. He was a farmer and mechanic having worked for Webber Sausage. Mr. Northcutt
was a member of the Curry United Methodist Church. Gordon was an honorably discharged
Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John L. Northcutt and Two
sisters, Frances McKenney and Ruby Northcutt.
Survivors include one brother, Jesse Northcutt, Lexington, two sisters, Betty Langefeld,
Lexington, Ky. and Hattie Taylor, Ohio.
Services will be conducted 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty
Funeral Home, by Rev. Joe Short and Dr. Lowell Langefeld, with burial in Battle Grove
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday.
