Garnett "Brock" Jolley, 88, of Cynthiana, Ky. died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at his
at his residence.
He was born in Harrison Co. Kentucky, March 5, 1919, to the late Cecil and Nancy
Williams Jolley. He was a retired painter and salesman. Mr. Jolley was an honorbly
discharged Army Veteran of World War II. He was a Civilian Conservation Corp Member
prior to World War II and a former Elks Club Member.
Mr. Jolley was prededed in death by his sister, Madeline Jolley Kendall, brother in law,
William A. Kendall, Sr. and two special friends, Dessie Dailey Fookes and Gladys Mullen.
Survivors include his nephew, William A. Kendall, Jr. and his wife Ruth, of Frankfort, Ky.
and great nephew, Mark A. Kendall, Lexington, Ky.,
Services will be conducted 2 P.M. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call after Noon Friday at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers are Don Rose, Johnny Tucker, Wanda Mattox, Rachel Maynard,
Ginny Pohlman, Clarence Caldwell, Jean Blackburn and Cleveland Morris.
