Frederick Donovan Pensinger, Jr., 84, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. 

Born September 15, 1938 in Portland, Indiana to the late Frederick D., Sr. & Dorothy Compton Pensinger, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired supervisor for 3M, a member of the 3M Club, St. Andrews Lodge #18 F.&A.M., Oleika Shrine Temple, the Cynthiana Elks Lodge and the Cynthiana First Church of God.  Fred loved visiting residents at the local nursing homes, was a fantastic storyteller and all-around social butterfly. 

Surviving are 4 children: Frederick D. Pensinger, III, Thomas Ashley Pensinger, Teresa (Tom) Dailey & Christina Pensinger; 2 sisters, Phyllis (Larry) Vance & Janet (Bill) Mays; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Also preceding him in death was a sister, Wanda Garland. 

Family services will be announced at a later date.  Following cremation, inurnment will be in the Battle Grove Cemetery Columbarium.
