Frances Wright Obituary
Frances Clifford Wright, 92, of Lexington, wife of the late William L. “Billy” Wright, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Willows at Fritz Farm.
Born March 3, 1927 in Harrison County to the late William Paul & Flora True Clifford, she was a retired educator and member of Southland Christian Church. She was an avid rose gardener and always dearly loved her pets.
Surviving are 2 children: Paul Lang Wright and Norma “Cissy” Spencer, both of Lexington; and 6 grandchildren: Jason (Angie) Wright, Robin Ratliff, Nathan (Leah) Wright, Megan Charles, Brian Spencer and Matthew (Stephanie) Spencer.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Battle Grove Cemetery.
Her family will serve as Casketbearers.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
