Eula Hedges Obituary

Eula Mae Green Hedges, 83, formerly of Cynthiana, wife of the late Pete Hedges, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Born March 30, 1935 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Henry and Julia Kirk Green, she was a former waitress at Biancke’s and the Cynthiana Country Club and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Music played a significant part of Eula’s life and she loved to listen to it all the time. She was also an accomplished guitarist and singer who performed on the radio in her younger days.

Survivors include a daughter, Gilberta Mae (Phil) Cassady, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a son, Virgil Skinner, of Arkansas; a sister, Norene Whitley, of Cynthiana; 2 granddaughters, Brandi & Shannon Cassady; and a great-granddaughter, Ansley Considine.
