Ernestine Elizabeth Tribble Obituary

Ernestine Elizabeth Steffe Tribble, 77 of Steffe Lane Cynthiana died Wednesday May 10, 2006.


She was born July 21, 1928 in Harlan, KY a daughter of the late David Ernest and Lalla Cessna Hardcastle Steffe.


Mrs. Tribble was a retired elementary school educator having taught in the Harrison Co. and Lebanon Junction school systems.


She was a member of the Indian Creek Christian Church, a graduate of the Buena Vista High School and the University of Kentucky, was a member of the Buena Vista Alumni Assoc., the Harrison Co. Retired Teachers Assoc. and for 10 years was the Secretary for the Harrison Co. Chapter of the Salvation Army.


Mrs. Tribble along with her husband enjoyed extensive travel throughout the United States and Foreign Countries.


Survivors include her husband Charles C. Tribble, 1 daughter Teryl Tribble, 1 sister Beverly Steffe all of Harrison Co. and several cousins.


Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 13, 2006 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Salvation Army Chaplain Ray Dalrymple.  Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday May 12, 2006 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
