Emma Stewart Kearns Humphrey, 84, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 22,
2007, at her residence.
She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, September 25, 1922, to the late William Forrest
and Jane Ammerman Kearns. Mrs. Humphrey was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church,
Harrison Memorial Hospital Auxilliary and the Falmouth Road Homemakers. She was a former
employee of Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William N. Humphrey,
son, William Thomas Humphrey, and brother, William Forrest Kearns, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Phil) O'Shea, Floyds Knobs, Ind., and Connie (Bob)
Fulton, Cynthiana, Ky., brother, Thomas A. (Jane) Kearns, Cynthiana, Ky., Six Grandchildren
Jennifer Hagood, Patrick McGee, Chris O'Shea, John O'Shea, William Russell "B.J." Humphrey,
and Sarah VanAllsburg. Seven Great Grandchildren, Bryn Newell, Abigail Hagood, Suzi O'Shea,
Emma Catherine McGee, Lani O'Shea, Jonathan O'Shea and Cameron VanAllsburg.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted 10 A.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the Drake-Whaley-
McCarty Funeral Home, by Rev. Wayne Spivey, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Cynthiana Baptist Church or one's favorite charity.

and John Hagood.
