Elizabeth May McClanahan Cox, 83, of Cincinnati, loving wife of the late Lewie Wayne Cox, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023.

A beloved daughter born May 9, 1939 to the late Albert & Harriet (Tackett) McClanahan, she worked for more than 20 years as a certified nursing assistant at the Mt. Washington Care Center.  Elizabeth was the devoted mother of Carolyn (Tom) Pearcy and Thomas Jones, and a caring grandmother & great-grandmother.

Also preceding Elizabeth in death were 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

A private family burial will be held in Battle Grove Cemetery.
