Edward Allen Herrington, 92, husband of 66 years to Janice Herrington, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.

Born November 24, 1929 in Harrison County to the late Elzie Erman & Dora Heinrich Herrington, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of IBM, member of VFW Post 4075 in Frankfort, an avid UK fan and member of Cynthiana First United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include a son, David A. Herrington, of Shelbyville, Indiana; a daughter, Susan Naziripour, of Florence, Kentucky; and 2 grandchildren, Camran & Mariam Naziripour.

Also preceding him in death were 2 sisters, Mildred Herrington & Ruby Herrington Sims, and 2 brothers, Woodrow & Jim Herrington.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 28th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Family & friends will serve as casketbearers.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Monday until the time of service.
