Edward "Buddy" Florence, 91, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Harrison County, died
Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Grand Haven Nursing Home.
He was born in Harrison County, Ky., January 17, 1916, to the late Orie and Clara
Fryman Florence. Mr. Florence was a member of the Arlington Christian Church, retired
employee of Cynthiana Motor Co. and I.B.M. He was an Honorbly Discharged Army
Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Wiggins Florence, one son, Gary Wayne (Tina Marie)
Florence, Lexington, one brother, Melvin (Mary Frances) Florence, Cynthiana.
Services will be conducted 2 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty
Funeral Home, Cynthiana, Ky., by Rev. Kristen Bentley, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon Monday at the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
